Since 2001, Innomar has hosted the biennial "Seabed Acoustics" workshop. This workshop will take place again in Rostock-Warnemünde (Germany) on 5–6th November 2025. Workshop language is English.

You may still have good memories of previous workshops. Having received much positive feedback, we are now preparing this year's event, which will be a joint workshop held by Innomar and Norbit Subsea.

On the first day, there will be presentations and discussions about development projects, technology reports and user experiences in the field of acoustic seabed investigation. The first day will traditionally close with an informal dinner. On the second day, equipment will be demonstrated on a riverboat. In addition to the demonstrations, there will be additional workshop sessions.

Topics of this workshop include, but are not limited to:

• high-resolution sub-bottom profiling,
• acoustics for in- and offshore installations (pre-site investigations, pipeline inspection, risk mitigation, etc.),
• using various acoustic profiling systems simultaneously, e.g. sub-bottom profiler, multibeam, sidescan sonar,
• underwater archaeology and detection of buried objects,
• underwater acoustic signal and image processing,
• acoustic seafloor characterization.

Once you have registered, you will receive an email invoice including payment details. Please note that travel and accommodation are not included in the registration fee and must be arranged separately. There are various hotels within walking distance of the conference venue.
